Here you can see part of downtown Dar es Salaam, with the Indian Ocean in foreground. It looks so teeny from this picture, but it is really quite bustling.
This is our third ocean in a month: the Atlantic in Castine, the Pacific in San Francisco, and now the Indian in Dar. Hopefully we'll get to do a lot of (bilharzia-free) swimming and sailing this year.
A new city. A new adventure. Jon arrives from Kigali today and we can't wait to get started!
