My First Earthquake

Sitting at my desk, I could feel my body shaking and my Nalgene next to me has a fluctuating water level.  Very exciting!  I've been told there have been a few since we have been here but this was the first I really felt.

On that note, I am planning to climb the Nyiragongo Volcano in Congo this weekend because it is awesome.  Check out this blog entry on another TechnoServe person's blog about his trip.  Sounds pretty X-treme (Mountain Dew Code Red!)

Plan is to survive!

Also, looks like I will be headed back to the U.S. around June 8 with a pretty hectic summer schedule before returning to Africa in September.  Lucy is leaving at the end of June once the school year finishes.
