The Old ERB Test

Thought this article (NYTimes: Private School Screening Test Loses Some Clout) on some private schools no longer using the ERB as an entrance exam was interesting since I took the test three times in four years (Spring 1995 at MBA to move from Ensworth to MBA; Summer 1997 at ETS testing site in Evanston to move to Chicago; Spring 1999 at Parker in Chicago to move to Memphis).  While the New York City private school world is a different beast  in terms of private school competitiveness, every school only has so many spots and this would eliminate another differentiating factor.  I am not sure making admissions more subjective is the best idea.
